Driven by its founder’s unique experience, WELTY STUDIOS is a creative expression of like-minded individuals with an ambition to create the brand they are missing by telling stories through each project and collection.

A melting-pot of 90’s - 20’s hip-hop influence, W.S. is essentially a mood, an emotion and a vision that goes beyond creating a random clothing brand. It’s a statement that merges an appreciation for sartorial codes and a strong interest for fabric. It's a story told in stitches.

The word ‘’WELTY’’ means ‘’HAPPY’’. It’s coming from the west African language PULAR, where happiness and sense of community is a non negotiable part of the culture.

Symbolising beauty, freedom and reincarnation, the butterfly also stands for the ‘’Joie de vivre’’ the brand highlights through its projects.

With a strong sense of community, W.S. is also a progressive lifestyle platform where fashion meets education and environmental awareness, which are the two core values behind our brand ethos.

Because we are all together for our planet, we aim at sustainability and commit ourselves to achieving  a higher eco-friendly performance.

All our partners source all the fabrics, trims and embellishments on a radius of 35 km, imprinting a very low carbon footprint on their production process. They also source organic and recycled fabrics such as organic cotton, kapok, nettle, recycled polyester.
